Getting started as a virtual assistant can be STRESSFUL. If you don’t already have leads for clients, you might be completely lost on where to start.
While I could tell you to apply for jobs on a Facebook group, I’d rather give you tips to creating an ongoing marketing strategy where you can have potential clients coming to YOU first.
I often see Virtual Assistants hide behind their work and not put themselves at the center of their brand. This is a huge red flag to me!
Business owners not only want to hire you for your skillset, but also for your personality, work ethic, communication skills, and so much more that can be shown through showing up in your content or marketing.
As a Virtual Assistant, I have seen so much success by making myself my brand! I have a lot of respect in my community for being a leader and my loyalty.
As for people in my community, the best virtual assistants I know show up as their brand every day. They don’t hide behind their graphics, their website, or text on a screen.
Here are 5 Tips I have to help you find more clients as a virtual assistant:
- Use your Instagram as your resume. Instagram can become a super-powerful platform to use to attract clients and help you get seen. When a potential client comes to your account do they know what you do? Do they know the level you can help them? Do you have results? Do you vibe well with them?
- Use your Instagram Stories and Highlights to sell yourself. First, you should always have something up in your stories! Preferably of you speaking face to the camera but if not then you should have an Instagram Highlight of you speaking face to camera talking about who you are, what you do, what services you offer! Basically your elevator pitch!
- Collaborate and Build Community! Use your social accounts to go live with your peers or people who are in your similar field. This is an amazing way to build authority.
- Host your own Free Training or Masterclass! Again, this is another great way to build authority and show that your service and knowledge is in demand.
- BE YOU! Hiring a Virtual Assistant is a personal thing. You are seeing deep into your client’s business and that can be a vulnerable thing. By showing up as you, your professionalism, your loyalty, and that you are going to be a huge support in their business, this is what make s a very reliable VA!
You will notice that when you start to implement these things. Clients will start coming to you first, you will attract your “dream” clients, and you will start to hit your BIG income goals.
